Random Shit from my Head

I don't like to write about imaginative characters and lives of other people. I only daydream and forget them...

I am more into what's inside my head. My head's been noisy as far as I can remember.

I know I am not a writer, not anymore. My pen was lost 15years ago.

I only write few and random thoughts. They move too fast that sometimes it's gone before I can complete them. That's why when my head has something special to say, I immediately take a pen and any piece of paper, just to make sure.
If I will write all ideas I have, every hour - I don't know if it makes sense. There are so many voices in my head every voice, different concept. I think about a lot of things, like the movies I've watched, books I've read, people, events, etc...Is it a sign of ADHD? If only there's kind of thoughts register machine, mine would twerk.

I want to sleep most of the time during daytime but when its time to sleep I want to do something different.
I wanted to be checked by a psychologist, to see the level of my sanity.
Most people actually believe they are not normal, I don't understand...perhaps, no one is normal. What is normal anyway?
How normal people think? ..maybe some normal stuff like family, friends, food, career, sports, more...
What if a person thinks about what other people think? Some people would say, it is a bad thing just because,  but few people actually believe that its a good thing, they call it being considerate.
I don't know, there are so many different perceptions, different ideas, different sides.
What if things only happen when we can think of it.

I believe in God, you know - the one who created the Big Bang.
Why a person has fears? I'm afraid of worms, maggots, caterpillars, etc.but why? I can't remember when I know I am afraid of these creatures.

I wonder what goes on in your head while you're reading this.

I am trying my best to understand people's behaviour, how and why they act that way.
I know I always sounds like a crazy person when I write. I rarely share what's truly inside my head because most people I know don't understand what I'm talking about.

I opened up an idea once,  to an older person whom I know is smart, I love talking to people much older than me, but I got disappointed to hear how close his mind on the idea I presented - Ethics. Well maybe, he just don't like it and it doesn't mean it's wrong because people don't approve it. I don't know anymore. Sometimes, I got lost inside my head too. Maybe my friend is right, knowing everything is not a good idea.
I know that there are things that should be left hidden, unknown, secret but...

...here I am again, trying to uncover the mysteries of the universe with nothing but my big heavy head.

My neck sores sometimes.

Paksiw na Tilapia sa Gata at Luyang Dilaw

I like Paksiw especially Bangus. I was planning to have Paksiw na Tulingan sa Gata for dinner. However, while I was at the supermarket, the Tulingan doesn't looked good. I was caught between Porkchops and Tilapia. I know Tilapia in Gata is good but I haven't tried the Paksiw na Tilapia in coconut milk. It's for me to find out, so I gave it a try.

This is my Paksiw na Tilapia sa Gata at Luyang Dilaw
Wow!!! It turned out to be amazing. I will surely cook this again.

For those who are planning to make this, here is my recipe:

1/2cup Water
1tbsp. Olive Oil (optional)
200ml Gata o coconut milk
100grams Pechay or Phil.Bukchoy
Salt and Pepper to taste
Seasoning (optional)

Procedure:
1.  Arranged cleaned Tilapia in a medium sized kettle. Put in the onion, garlic, vinegar, water, oil, chili, salt and pepper. Bring to boil. Add seasoning.
2. Continue to cook until the vinegar-water broth will half in volume.
3. Put in turmeric and coconut milk. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

A Noble Man's Regret...

I read this letter everyday to remind myself how to live my life with no regrets.

Letter written by Friedrich Nietzsche

Friedrich Nietzsche - one of the great minds of history and philosophy...I admire all his works, visions and ideas. Spent his life in pursuit of freedom, wisdom and happiness...only to die with sorrow and regrets...

I know now, like I did then, that life is not just about accomplishments, wealth and fortune, fame and recognitions...It is about crying yourself to sleep at night and waking up in the morning with smile on your face like nothing happened that night before...It is about having a crazy family and being happy with it just because, of course, no one can understand your craziness better than they do...It is about accepting your imperfections because you know somebody will love you the way you are...It is about doing some random stupid stuff while you still can because you know nothing last forever...It is about love, hope, sorrow, faith and happiness...all emotions that makes us all human....You and I will not live forever...let's just make sure that when our life flashes before our eyes, it is worthwhile to see...

I'll make sure I will never write anything like this before I die... I hope...

Gluttony at the Park

It was last Friday night at a Restobar my friend suggested months before we had our visit in Cebu. The Restobar is very popular in the Metro, so popular that we were 3rd on the waiting list. There were many foreigners and locals waiting as well.

This is their the Walk , IT Park Branch, I think they have two branches here in Cebu City

We had our table after almost an hour and I ordered this whooping 9-inch burger served with fries. Bet I can never finished this all by myself, or even half of it, or even a quarter. It came with instruction : Need to be Shared..jk!! but really you can never consumed that burger on your own, my friend tried. For only PhP388, I think I can't stand the smell, look and taste of burger for months...Wait, they also serve 12-inch burger, 1 kilo of meat patty...like wth!!

Look at that burger!

We sliced it like a pie.

After the "Big Bang Burger" - its name, my sister treated the group with this oversized dessert called "Death by Chocolate". Chocolate inside out, from the chocolate ice cream interior, to the chocolate cookie crust, dipped in chocolate and finished with chocolate syrup. Oh my! Did I say chocolate?...but I think PhP148 is much for this chocolate ice cream cake dessert.

Death by Chocolate

*sugar rush*...I already consumed my recommended calories for 3 days. I better not eat until then...jk!

Cheapest Way to travel from Dumaguete to Cebu V/V

Because my flight going back to Manila from Catarman last August was moved to the following day, the Airline Company offered  a round trip ticket valid for one year to any of their domestic destinations. Yepey!! It will be used to my long time plan to visit Cebu City to visit my sister again.

Unfortunately, the Airline Company no longer serves flight from Manila to Cebu. I was so sad that I called the Airline Costumer Service Hotline with angst. I was so disappointed but it didn't slow me down. I checked all possible ways to go to Cebu on time. I've learn the possibility of inter island routes with less expenses of course. Dumaguete and Cebu seems to be the best choice. Problem solved, moreover I got a chance to visit two islands. It's like hitting two birds with one stone. Hehe! I was so excited.

From NAIA T3, it took one hour and ten minutes to land to Sibulan Airport (Dumaguete City).

Dumaguete from my plane's window
Just outside the Airport Building

There will be tricycle or taxi drivers that will approach you, they will persistently offer a ride for PhP100-120 going to the city or Sibulan Port. But I'll advise you to just walk a little until you reach the airport gate, only about 50 meters from the airport building, there will be buses and easyrides (multicabs) going to Dumaguete City (left) going to Sibulan Port (right) for only PhP10.
The Governor on bike welcomes us...

Almost outside, if you're bound to Sibulan Port for fastcraft DO NOT CROSS the street.

Easyrides will take you to the passenger fastcraft, just about 50meters from that spot.
After the misleading direction experienced in Dumaguete City, at last I arrived at the Sibulan Port. This is cheapest way to travel from Dumaguete to Cebu v/v. With only PhP62-70, from Sibulan Port you'll reach Liloan, Santander, Cebu in 30 minutes. From Liloan Pier, Ceres Bus (most popular bus line in Cebu and Dumaguete) or L-300 Vans awaits travelers going to Cebu City, fare is only PhP150-169. Travel time will be 3.5 - 4 hours  from Santander to Cebu South Bus Terminal.

Finally, I arrived at my sister's flat and started our Cebu trip with dinner at Cebu's famous barbecue binge destination, Larsian.

Going back to Dumaguete City : At the Cebu South Bus Terminal (Ceres Bus Line have hourly departure to Oslob, Liloan Port, etc - PhP169) - At Liloan Pier (fastcraft departs every 30 minutes - PhP62 going to Sibulan Port) - At Sibulan Port (Easyrides and tricycle awaits, easyride's fare is only PhP10 going to the Airport and Php12 to Dumaguete City)...
